using fc6 I see the radeon driver ignores the hsync and vsync settings
for the X server. i can only limit hsync and vsync using the driver options.
i need to limit the dotclock somehow, so i set a skeletal xorg.conf file
with the sync limits and update the driver section when my disk is
booted in another machine.
when the driver changes back to radeon, i lose the driver options, and
the monitor goes out of range.
