something is really busted with mouse click focusing on my desktop.

Somewhere in the past three or four days, something broke on my desktop.

If I log out and then back in again, then it works fine.

At some point (that I can't isolate, but I'm wondering if it might be
when I suspend) something goes south.

I'm running compiz. I'm also using updates-testing (with the exception
of the kernel - sorry Dave).

Symptoms include:

CTRL-ALT-[Left Mouse click and hold) doesn't move the cube around, but
instead just does what the mouse should do. (This is the least of my
problems).

Double clicking on a window's title bar doesn't 'shade' the window (most
times), and instead starts to move the window (which makes it wobble).

This is the big one, so I've left it until last for some detailed
discussion.

When I click on another (unfocused) window, the focus doesn't move to
that window. The window might not come forward and the title bar
doesn't highlight.

Some times the window does come forward, but the title bar still doesn't
highlight.

You can move focus using CTRL-TAB.

You can also drag an unfocused window around the screen, but it doesn't
move the focus. Along with this, you can interact with the window using
the mouse, but the keyboard doesn't move focus to that window.

The Workspace Switcher does weird things, the most obvious being that
windows on other desktops (usually on ones to the right of where you are
working) stop showing up in the switcher.

I've tried `killall compiz`, but this doesn't do anything (except
respawn compiz)

More as I figure out more, but has anyone seen this sort of thing on
their desktop?
