Thanks for the feedback on the kernel not working for you. I will hold off installing it for now. The kernel is the only package which I did not upgrade yet. I did notice a slew of packages that still had fc6 tags from development and development-extras. I would expect the fc6 tagged packages would be upgraded to fc7 by now. I guess since they seem to work still, the tag is no real big of a concern.
