As far as I remember, a 4-5 line bash script takes care of the average
non-Fedora needs.
1) yum -y update
2) Get livna repo files
3) get atrpms repo files
4) yum install (ati|nvidia|flash|mplayer|mplayer-codecs|other-non-free-sound-libs)
5) Download java runtime from sun
6) Install java rpm
Okay six lines. That about takes care of things.
Not saying that his friends would write the script, just that he would
write it and tell them to run this one thing to install everything
else that they may need.
