plugin that you've installed is not liking it? Try moving your
~/.gaim/prefs.xml file (or removing the <pref name='plugins'> ...
</pref> section) and see if Gaim starts up ok then.
By the way, I have noticed that unlike in the past, Gaim will not open
unless you click on the icon on the panel bar. Is there a way that when
you click on the icon, the program will open automatically?
