Just a remark: I guess you're aware about it, but besides the groups of "testers" you mention above, there is the group of people which occasionally mix binaries and/or rebuild individual packages from rawhide and/or testing with a regular distro's packages. I wouldn't be surprised if the number of such people would be astonishingly high amongst developers, FE maintainers and "power users". At least, I had found myself in this group ever since I am using RH/Fedora, esp. when being confronted with bugs being closed "FIXED RAWHIDE" (i.e. actually unfixed) or when hunting down bugs which have a real impact on everyday usage.
