There is a known bug where anaconda dies if it sees a pre-existing LVM partition with a dash in the name.. which yours appears to have. http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=186439 > Does it work for anyone else? Worked fine for me - I tested upgrades from FC4 and FC5. In theory, if you lvrename that volume to something without a dash, then your upgrade should work. -w
