Starting xterm from a tty like: DISPLAY=:0 xterm gives an xterm, but it doesn't respond to the keyboard at all. nVidia GEForce Go 7300 on a Toshiba Tecra notebook (using the nv driver), xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.1.1-43.fc6. Worked until the latest X upgrade.
