Same as every other BT client. Seeders are those who have a completely downloaded file and are uploading only there are 10 seeders who have the file you are getting, but only 5 are connected to the swarm. Likewise there is 1 leech (someone other than you) in the swarm (that's the number in parentheses) and 1 is uploading to the swarm. Note that not everyone is uploading to you at any one time, but when your BT asks the swarm for a particular packet 1 of them will respond. If you do study the source, maybe you can figure out why sometimes I have a lot of seeders/leeches in the swarm, but no one is uploading to me, (AAAAAAARGH!). or (worse?) I get speeds of 1 or 2kbps or less (double AAAAAAARGH!)
