There is a possibility yes, I will see what I can accomplish with that tomorrow. If my memory serves me right, I did not manage to detect this controller with the FC5 installer either - had to go through FC4 install. The machine is at a remote location, so I tried with acpi=off now, and it won't come back to life, so that probably doesn't work either.
