After installing today's updates (20060823) (these also include last nights updates) my laptop stops booting after the USBHID messages. Af a short while the CPU fan start howling, something is eating CPU. Booting with a previous kernel does not resolve the problem. The system is now unusable. I've tried various boot options to no avail. Famous last lines: input: HID 05ac:1000 as /class/input/input5 input: USB HID v1.11 Mouse [HID 05ac:1000] on usb-0000:00:1d.3-1 PM: Adding info for No Bus:usbdev4.2_ep82 <blinking cursor> Any ideas what causes this?
