The daily install of today's rawide snapshot (20060814) went well with only a few glitches. The firstboot X-server doesn't exit cleanly. Examination of the process table reveals *two* X servers running. One with a test configuration xorg.conf and the other from gdm. I have to manually kill both to get the actual gdm display. Dual head functionality is not currently working. There is no DDC probe for the second monitor, and Xorg.0.log says something about no matching configuration section for the ATI card. Will file a BZ for this with Xorg.0.log attached. No major regressions of other core functions noted. Extras config and install coming next... --Wolfe
