The install with software selection went well. The X server detects the primary (trident) card and configures it. However, it does NOT detect the monitor (compaq S710) and configure it properly; resulting in a virtual display width that does not match the physical display width (horizontal scrolling works.) Running X -configure from VT01 make a xorg.conf.new that is a mess as there is a second video card in a PCI slot and it doesn't correctly configure the trident cyberblade/i1 (mobo video). Starting X -config xorg.conf.new results in a shakey display. system-config-display still fails miserably. Firstboot comes up and handles the soundcard okay. It does not exit cleanly due to problems with the X-server. Not sure what to file the X stuff against. skipping BZ for now. system-config-users is working fine. no other major regressions in what I've played with so far. --Wolfe
