Just to add that EACH time i have to restart yum-updatesd (service
yum-updatesd restart), if i want to run "yum update", even after login
or reboot ... Does it come from yum or something else ?
Is there somethink to do to stop this ?
If you are on FC6test1, from what others have said, you may need to
disable yum-updatesd service. eg using system-config-services.
If the lock file doesn't go away after stopping and disabling the above
you probably need to manually remove the lock file.
