I'm guessing this is the same problem as this thread on linux-dvb http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-June/011132.html The thread contains a fix and the last message from Andrew is that he will try to get this queued for a 2.6.17.x release, hence it'll probably turn up in a FC5 2.6.17 update at some point.
