Yes. And I'm having some trouble. I posted about this just yesterday in response to a question very similar to yours. See also the bug at freedesktop.org:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5781

Please update both bugs with any info you might have -- 5781 has been closed once due to lack of activity until I reopened it.

I installed the update posted at http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/testing/5/i386/xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.5.8.0-1.i386.rpm and this is the one that started the random lockups on my machine (Thinkpad T30 with Radeon Mobility M7).

This problem is not 'fixed in CVS.' Over a week ago, I did a complete checkout and build to see if CVS HEAD fixed this problem. I found that it made no difference on my T30.

Subject: Any dual head xorg radeon users out there in fedora test land?

In the FC5 release, many of us experience random system freezes when
using the xorg radeon driver on dual head systems. There is a bug
report about it in the Redhat Bugzilla:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=185944

I am curious to know if the xorg--x11drv-ati package from the FC
development servers fixes that. In the bug report, there is a
suggestion that a newer ati driver will work, but the version referred
to in that post is no longer in the development server. Now there is
a newer version that won't install into FC5 without also upgrading the
X server itself.

Supposing the dual head problem is fixed in the development branch, I
wonder if it is safe to take just the 2 packages, xorg-x11-drv-ati and
xorg-x11-server-Xorg into an FC5 system. I've checked and the yum/RPM
system will let me do it. But I also worry that a lot of other stuff
will break.
