Hello all, Since the release of the new FC5 updates-testing gnome-pilot (re-based on pilot-link 0.11.8) I'm trying to get it to work. I'm no gtk guru (and I couldn't find the debuginfo rpms, so I'm guessing here), but it seems that gpilotd is getting SIGABRT due to invalid free in orbed_notify_connect... from there on, everything goes to hell. (gpilot just hangs there while the palm times out wait for the sync to proceed; gpilot stays hung long after the palm has disconnected) If someone can instruct me how to modify the spec file in-order to generate debug information, I'll be happy to supply further information. General information: * OS: FC5 x86_64 running on Opteron machine. * Palm: Tungsten T3. gpilotd config: * Static ttyUSB[0/1] under /etc/dev/ (to get udev out of the picture). * USB syncing, 115kbps. Versions: [gilboa@gilboa-home-dev SOURCES]$ rpm -qa | grep pilot pilot-link-devel-0.11.8-12.2.fc5.x86_64 jpilot-0.99.8-3.fc5.x86_64 gnome-pilot-conduits-2.0.13-3.FC5.3.x86_64 gnome-pilot-devel-2.0.13-7.fc5.5.x86_64 pilot-link-0.11.8-12.2.fc5.x86_64 gnome-pilot-2.0.13-7.fc5.5.x86_64 Gilboa P.S. -Please- don't push the updated pilot package to -updates before gpilotd is working... we palm users have been struggling with palm sync since FC4-release... It'll be nice to see it fully working for a change. ;)
