And here's a better way:
http://www.leemhuis.info/files/fedorarpms/MISC.lvn/graphics/

rpmbuild --rebuild --target `uname -m` nvidia-kmod-*.src.rpm
and then install the newly built RPM and xorg-x11-drv-nvidia RPM.
