Having a descriptive label on the desktop, like "Graphics November 2005", and find it within your filesystem instead the rather cryptic /media/cdrom, or, if you have multiple drives, /media/cdrom0, /media/cdrom1 and so on; a naming convention which isn't very intuitive. And, just for the records, I haven't read one message where somebody is "shouting that the people pointing out negatives are wrong". But that's hardly the point, is it?
