https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=178708#c2 All daily rawhide kernels after 2.6.15-1.1826.2.10_FC5 hang during init with "Starting udev:_" where the underscore '_' indicates that the VGA blinking underline cursor has stopped blinking. There is no response to any keyboard input; hardware reset is required. The hardware is plain clone and has been reliable. Booting with serial console reveals nothing other than what is on the VGA screen: in particular, no Oops messages.
