IPtables is still broken in 2.6.15-1.1871_FC5
# /etc/init.d/iptables start
Flushing firewall rules: iptables: Too many levels of symbolic links
iptables: Too many levels of symbolic links

Setting chains to policy ACCEPT: filter iptables: Invalid argument

Unloading iptables modules: [ OK ]
Applying iptables firewall rules: iptables-restore v1.3.4: Can't set
policy `FORWARD' on `ACCEPT' line 21: Bad built-in chain name

Looking at the following topic, 2.6.15-1.1863_FC5 is supposed to work.
DOes anyonw know where I can get a copy of said build of the kernel RPM?

I don't recall disabling iptables but it was turned off when I checked
services. I ended up with the below output when trying to start iptables.
Table: filter
ERROR: 0 not a valid target)
/etc/init.d/iptables: line 274: 23989 Aborted $IPTABLES
-t $table --list $NUM $VERBOSE $COUNT
Content of 274 downward:
for table in $tables; do
echo $"Table: $table"
$IPTABLES -t $table --list $NUM $VERBOSE $COUNT && echo
done
