I did see this when testing out the newer kernel this mornign from
rawhide...

/.udev/db/class@input@input1@mouse0
/dev/.udev/failed/class@input@input1@mouse0
/dev/input/mouse0

Will test a regular PS2 mouse this morning and see what happens.
