RE: Gnome Applets problems after yum update

This also fixed a problem with evolution for the record.

The original problem was after today's yum update, starting evolution-2.5.4-9 only produced the evolution framework with send/receive button only. Once the below script was run, evolution behaved normally also.

Still can't get gweather applet to work thou.

Good work with inclusion of mono, beagle and the like ( two thumbs up..)

Fixed it.

I think it's being said here once already but here it is again.

This should sort out the gnome-applet problems.

As for the rest not a clue.

Running gnome-applets-2.13.2-2
So it looks like a don't have a system tray any longer.
Removed the package and loaded gnome-applets-2.13.2-1 and it had the same
problem.
Removed it and installed gnome-applets-2.13.1-4 from the original dvd.
Well it is still broken, so something else must be breaking it.

/var/log/messages had this:

Not sure if that helps any or not.

Any ideas on what else I can try?

2.6.15-1.1861_FC5 kernel, selinux disabled.

Thanks!
