BTW, is Ron Minnich correct when he says that EFI will lead to the
introduction of huge (16MB?) Flash BIOS?

If that's true, thanks Intel.  Plenty of room for LinuxBIOS, Xen,
a nice bloated kernel, and an initramfs that's a whole mini-distro --
all up and running before the hard disks (if any) finish spinning up.
