I've been seeing this on the bash prompt at runlevel 3. I want to think there were some updates last week for termcap or ncurses or something. So, I guess I've seen it around 10 days, but on the console.

I'd say it should be bugzilla'd but the question is what package.

I see this also on the kde terminal, konsole, which I don't use. Does this provide a clue as to where the problem lies? Also,
