Just out of curiousity I installed bootchart and ran it against the latest rawhide (yesterday) install just to see what the fuss is all about. As far as I can tell, it took 40 seconds to boot up? Hrm, think that is just from when the services actually started and not the time I hit enter at the grub prompt?
