Used to work before. I can confirm this issue on my rawhide box. Kindly file a bug report.

The report is same but disabling SELinux with setenforce 0 doesnt change the behavior of gedit on my system.

Have you done 'su -' again after setenforce 0?



I tried setenforce 0 followed by trying to launch gedit as Rahul reported with the same failure. Running su - (in a different shell) after setenforce 0 allows gedit to start, though it loads very slowly.
