Had the same thing. Accepting the package list as presented got me past it. You can then install/uninstall packages with yum when up and running. Good luck.

Your advice worked a treat but now I'm trying 'add/remove packages' with an error "Installation tree not found. The path /media/cdrecorder does not look like a valid installation source"
I don't think Yum would work either having no installation tree.
 Are there any workarounds for this.
