This got fixed, if I remember correctly, in an update to NetworkManager.

The problem was that /sbin/ip changed: it used to accept commands like
'ip address'; and update to iproute changed this to only accept
commands like 'ip addr'.

Version of NetworkManager packages you are running?  Need to update them?
