Hi, in all kernels after kernel-2.6.13-1.1582_FC5 the cpuspeed daemon does not work on my machine. I have a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ on an Asus K8V SE Deluxe mainboard with 1GB of RAM. At the beginning of boot with the latest kernel (2.6.13-1.1605_FC5), I get the following message: "powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSD BIOS structure" Running "service cpuspeed start" does not give any output or error message, while "/usr/sbin/cpuspeed" says: Error: Could not open file for writing: /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor Error: No such file or directory Do I have to do any changes to the cpuspeed config file, or is it a problem with the kernel? I think it is the latter because with the 2.6.13-1.1582_FC5 kernel CPU frequency scaling works, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
