What makes you think this will be fixed in FC5? The bug has been open
for several months, without any response from the developers. AFAICT,
they simply don't care.
Perhaps you didn't see the word hopefully? Seriously though, it has
seemed to me that there has been little work done on this and it is
possible that up2date will be dropped. I really got my hopes up when
they released an update for it in rawhide the other day, but alas,
didn't fix the problem.
