Then again, I'm not sure what semantics are for comparing the versions. rpm -q libid3tag libid3tag-0.15.1b-3.2.fc4.rf [nbecker@nbecker2 ~]$ rpm -q libid3tag --conflicts libmad < 0.15.1b [nbecker@nbecker2 ~]$ rpm -q libmad libmad-0.15.1b-3.2.fc4.rf I already have a libmad, I suppose it's x86_64 though, while I was trying to install a i386 version.
