X11 or freeglut problem

Hi,

I've written a small demo program using OpenGL. It compiles fine, but
when I come to run it I get the following error

freeglut (./simple): OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display
':0.0'

My xorg.conf file looks like this (cut down a bit - but still with all
the configs in it)

Any ideas where the problem lies?

"Space", it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how
vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big space really is. I mean, you may
think it's a long way down the road to the chemists, but that's just
*peanuts* compared to space, listen" - Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy
