and what if he tried to boot from the SRPMS-disc-1 or he has burned the iso-file as single file? what is the name of his "number one disk to boot" iso ? $ ls /media/cdrom could be helpfull. ronny strenger is a "very computer literate" he is working under "suse9.3" he has "tried 2 dozen other linux distros" ... i personaly would call him a linux expert ;-) apropos, i do no understand why you suggest to dowload all 10 isos?
