I had this issue as well on my Thinkpad T20 - I opened a bugzilla this morning - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=156860 The kernel works fine on my headless VIA box (Duron 1.6GHz) The kernel works fine on my nforce2 box (Athlon XP 2700+) The kernel does not work on my Thinkpad T20 (PIII 700MHz) Those who have an issue should probably put their boot arguements and /sbin/lspci info into the bugzilla, so that the problem can be identified and the kernel people can request info and feedback.
