i have the same, getting those messages before:
error mknod: /dev/null:17
error mknod: /dev/zero:17
i rebooted and gave selinux=0 (disabled) and the system booted very
well. Seems, there is something with the latest selinux-policies.

btw. but older kernels do boot fine with the new policy...
