RTF comments in the file.  They tell you what to do.

The default is to be secure.  The vast majority of systems are not set
up to be mail servers, so there is no reason to have them accepting SMTP
connections to a daemon that may have bugs (it doesn't matter what the
daemon is; they all have bugs of some type or another).
