I then saw them now and then on different ati / uli(ali) hardware with diffenrent kernels (not fedora specific). Or maybe try this kernel parameter (I tried it but can't remember if it helped): clock= [BUGS=IA-32, HW] gettimeofday timesource override. Forces specified timesource (if avaliable) to be used when calculating gettimeofday(). If specicified timesource is not avalible, it defaults to PIT.
