When I select the drive and the directory where the ISO is located and
click OK, the installer crashes and I get some errors containing a
buffer overflow warning and something about /sbin/loader (I will take a
closer look at it or take a photo, if you want) and finally a message
that I can safely reboot my PC.

Doesn't seem to be limited to the x86_64 platform. I opened a bug report <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=154757> in bugzilla. Posting the notification here in case anyone is interested.

Also, if someone happens to know a temporary fix just so I can get FC4T2 installed on my system without having to burn a DVD ISO, I'd appreciate it if you let me/us know. I'm still hoping this is fixable by some kernel parameter.
