Install problem...

Just d/loaded and installed f/c4 test..On booting had to edit 
/etc/inittab to level 3 then startx
to get the screen up...I then tried to upgrade using yum -upgrade and 
yum -y upgrade
but it tell me............Options Error: Not a boolean: 1
using any other command except version gives the same result..
Could anyone point out where I am going wrong ??
