It does create the .odb file and then crashes. oo-base opens when the .odb file is double clicked but then can't find the right driver [while resolving class: org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver]. When trying to connect to valid mysql or postgresql dbs on another machine, oo-base crashes with no apparent output. Looks similar to this https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=133882 but not identical. Shouldn't this get filed in bugzilla?
