Description :
udev is a implementation of devfs in userspace using sysfs and
/sbin/hotplug. It requires a 2.6 kernel to run properly.

Update Information:

People who experience very long udev startup times with kernel 2.6.11,
and have SCSI or SATA, should test this release.
Also DRI permissions are now set to 0666, which should solve the DRI
access problems.

launch the Update Agent with the 'up2date' command.  You may
need to edit your up2date channels configuration.  Within
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources enable the following line:
