It is almost impossible to get a DVD to mount. After trying a combination of mounting with kdfree, right clicking the cdrecorder icon and manually mounting, it eventually mounts. I think it helps to leave it sit for 10 minutes. It is easy to eject the DVD if one right clicks the cdrecorder icon and does an unmount and then an eject. This was a problem with previous kernels: 2.6.9-1.6xx ish. I can't burn a DVD at all.
