Running newest vncserver off rawhide I get this error when starting the server from user account: $ vncserver xauth: error in locking authority file /home/reader/.Xauthority xauth: error in locking authority file /home/reader/.Xauthority New 'reader.local.net0:1 (reader)' desktop is reader.local.net0:1 Starting applications specified in /home/reader/.vnc/xstartup Log file is /home/reader/.vnc/reader.local.net0:1.log I'm unable to connect to this server from a vnc viewer running on a windows box. Not sure if this is why.
