Hi. I am using FC3. The firewire in FC3 mounts my firewire drives fine at boot, but I am having problems with the sbp2 (serial bus protocol 2) kernel module --it gives me "ieee1394: sbp2: aborting sbp2 command" about 40 times per hour (and times out for 30 seconds each time). An official solution is to add the parameter 'serialize_io' when I load the sbp2 module (with modprobe). This was nice and easy before the days of hotplug, as I could just add serialize_io to /etc/modules.conf. Things are not so easy in the land of hotplug. Where in /etc/hotplug/hotplug.functions can I add the parameter serialize_io (or can I)? There doesn't seem to be anywhere to add module parameters (without re-writing the script). Thanks in advance, Bob -- Bob Gill <gillb4@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
