For Microsoft Word Attachments, the mime type showing up in my Evolution install is:
application/msword
I just installed the redhat-menus update, "redhat-menus-3.7-2.2.fc3.noarch.rpm", and now at least MSWord "doc" Mimetypes are correctly opening in OpenOffice..... Havent tried the others yet.....
More as I run across it, but thanks for fixing this (still would like to know where the ".desktop" file exists that controls this....)
