Hi, can somebody explain me why the upgraded system can make problems while clean installed not. As far as I know the files are repalced during upgrade (rpm -U *.rpm), so everythink should go well but it go wrong (examples: ALSA problems with intel85x chipset in my laptop, giant problems with gnomes-session, etc). Why upgrade can make things so broken? And how it is that KDE does not present such problems at WM start, as Gnome presents. (KDE starts ALWAYS, even after system crash, files lost, upgrade)?
