I just checked in the fix for this bug to yum cvs. I was catching the error but not printing the error string so no one knew what was wrong. fixed in cvs, I'll make a 2.1.11 release soonish and it'll be in there. short-fix: remove any duplicate named repository from .repo files. -sv
