Adding more lists to the default set is trivial, sending nightly and candidate mails to different lists is maybe slightly less trivial (I don't remember the code ATM, haven't looked at it for a while), also sending to discourse is rather less trivial (we'd have to figure out authentication for one thing) but would be a significant improvement. Currently I manually copy the candidate announcements to discourse, when I remember to. It's just occurred to me that in practice we may be configuring this in the consumer config in infra ansible rather than in the code itself. I don't recall whether I made this part of the consumer config or not.
