I've checked, and it appears this has now mostly also been applied to Fedora 41 :( xorg-x11-drv-fbdev has been retired in F41. xorg-x11-drv-vesa has not, but there is no installable build of it at present, and xorg-x11-server has been set to Obsolete it: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/xorg-x11-server/c/083eae606156350e911d9ad663a9219a92dbe363?branch=f41 I believe this was done *way* too late for Fedora 41 (after Beta!) and without anywhere near sufficient advance notification and discussion. We have not run the "basic video driver" tests since Beta, but I'm very worried they will be broken. I'll run them today and see. -- Adam Williamson (he/him/his) Fedora QA Fedora Chat: @adamwill:fedora.im | Mastodon: @adamw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx https://www.happyassassin.net -- _______________________________________________ test mailing list -- test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to test-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
